Privacy Policy for Patrol Toolkit

Effective Date: April 10, 2026

Last Updated: May 2, 2026

Patrol Toolkit is operated by Frank Giunta. KeyatPackle LLC may provide business, administrative, support, and distribution services for Patrol Toolkit, including distribution through Google Play.

Patrol Toolkit is a local-first mobile application for law enforcement professionals. This policy explains what the app accesses, what remains on your device, when limited third-party services are used, and what purchase-related information is handled outside the app.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not operate servers that store your Patrol Toolkit content.

The following remain on your device unless you explicitly export, share, or use an online helper service described in this policy:

  • Case notes, call numbers, and incident details
  • Evidence photos captured in the app
  • Department documents you import
  • Calendar entries, court dates, and reminders
  • Pursuit notes and saved route records
  • SFST results and observations
  • Local feature preferences and app lock state

We do not collect your name, email address, contact list, advertising identifier, or payment card details through the app itself.

We do not sell personal information, run third-party advertising, or use cross-app or cross-site tracking.

2. Device Permissions

Patrol Toolkit requests only the permissions needed for specific features:

  • Camera: used to capture evidence photos and support the SFST flashlight workflow.
  • Face ID / biometric authentication: used to lock and unlock access to locally stored app data.

Patrol Toolkit does not request device GPS location permission in the current build.

If you deny a permission, the related feature may be limited, but the app remains free to install and use for supported non-permission features.

3. Purchases and Billing

Patrol Toolkit is free to install. SFST Timer and Law Reference are available at no cost.

Paid features are unlocked through a one-time, non-renewing lifetime unlock purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play.

We do not directly process payments. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

We use RevenueCat to validate whether a lifetime unlock is active for the current store account and to support purchase restoration. RevenueCat receives only the transaction and app-user data needed to verify purchase status, such as anonymous app user identifiers, product identifiers, store receipt information, and purchase status.

4. Third-Party Services

Patrol Toolkit may rely on the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store for app distribution and in-app purchases
  • RevenueCat for purchase status verification and restore support
  • Apple Maps / Google Maps and OpenStreetMap routing providers for pursuit mapping features
  • Expo or related platform services for app build/runtime support

When you use pursuit address search, street matching, map, or routing features, the address query, route waypoints, or location-related information you enter may be sent to map or routing providers so the app can locate addresses, match routes to streets, or support map-based documentation.

Patrol Toolkit does not request device GPS location permission in the current build. However, for App Store or Google Play privacy disclosures, user-entered addresses, waypoints, or route information may still be treated as location-related data used for app functionality.

Your interaction with third-party services is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.

5. Data Storage and Security

User-generated operational data is intended to remain local to your device.

Patrol Toolkit may use local database storage, device secure storage, and operating system security features where supported. If you export or share data using platform features, that exported content is then handled according to the destination you choose.

No app, device, or storage method can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for securing your device and following agency policy, legal requirements, and records/evidence procedures.

6. Retention and Deletion

Because Patrol Toolkit data is stored locally:

  • You can delete individual records from within the app.
  • Uninstalling the app removes app-managed local data from the device, subject to platform backup behavior.
  • There is no server-side Patrol Toolkit account data with us to delete.

If you contact support, any information you include in your email is handled only for support, troubleshooting, purchase restoration, or related communication.

7. Children's Privacy

Patrol Toolkit is not directed to children and is intended for professional adult use.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Law Enforcement and Agency Records Disclaimer

Patrol Toolkit is a personal field documentation and workflow tool.

Patrol Toolkit does not replace agency policy, official police reports, RMS/CAD systems, evidence management systems, legal requirements, court-required documentation, public records obligations, criminal justice information rules, or official records retention procedures.

Users are responsible for determining whether information entered into the app is appropriate under their agency policies and applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted at the published Privacy Policy URL. Continued use of Patrol Toolkit after updates means the updated policy applies to your use of the app.
